Is it Safe to Help Michael, Tony & the Family?I applaud your caution - there are far too many scam operations on the Internet right now, and since you might not know me personally, it makes perfect sense to exercise extreme caution. I would do exactly the same. Firstly let me say that asking for help like this is not pleasant at all. It's embarrassing. If I were a fraudster, I certainly wouldn't make so much personal information publicly visible - I would not use my personal web page, nor would I provide personal contact details. If you would like to speak to me in person to verify that I am a real, legitimate person, please call me on my South African cell phone on +27 82 415 5888. I take calls 24 hours a day, because I take this matter so seriously. Alternatively, try this Google web search - you will see that there are no negative comments about me in cyberspace. If there were, they would very quickly show up in Google - the world's most respected search engine. Secondly, do not for a minute think that I have concocted some hugely exaggerated story to try and fleece money from an unsuspecting public. Feel free to call the Thai Police Station which discovered the accident on +66 77-377-114. Speak to Inspector Nutthawut Pokikanchanawat. Ask him about the black Toyota Supra standing behind his office, which arrived there on May 6th, 2006. If you don't wish to call, email tesapol@police.go.th and quote case number ST/20060505/45982NCT. You might also want to call Groote Schuur Hospital in South Africa (where the world's first heart transplant was conducted in 1967) on +27 21 404-5070. Ask to speak to Dr. Jacobsohn, the Neurosurgery Specialist who performed the second operation. If he's not available, ask to speak to any of the sisters. Tony's file number is 204-74011. His date of birth is 08/03/1944. He will be known to the hospital staff as Anthony John Haupt. Thirdly, do not be concerned that this is some extensive scam to gain access to your bank account details so that I can steal money from your account. Any donation is processed by third party payment processors, so I do not see any of your personal bank details. All I receive from them is your name and email address, and the amount donated. I treat this information with the utmost respect and privacy. I hope that calling the numbers listed above will set your mind at rest, and I truly hope you'll be able to help us out. Please close this window to return to the previous page, where there are guidelines as to how you can safely and securely help us out. |
